Welcome to the unofficial wiki for the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia! My name is Nicholas Bennett and I have been using Geogebra for a little over a year. Suffice it to say, I am still very much a novice. If it were not for the forum and Linda (Linda's Geogebra Wiki) I would not be able to do or have some of the great documents that I do. I love creating geogebra sketches for my students to work on and to use ideas I find online or the various textbooks I am using. Feel free to use whatever is on this site as your own, so long as you give me credit for the work. There are screencasts for GeoGebra activities that involve students doing the constructions and also quick screencasts of problems that my students work on in class.

If you have any questions, or find any mistakes in any of the files, please email me. If you use LaTeX and want the .tex file, just email me and I will send it over to you so that you can change the information as needed. I am constantly updating my files after I use them in class to make them the best they possibly can be. I still make mistakes, so if you find anything out of the ordinary, let me know.

Most sketches will have both a PDF and DOCX file. The PDF file is for more advanced users that can handle constructions on their own. The DOCX files have step by step construction processes to help students work through the process.

With GeoGebra, it's about learning math. Thousands of people around the world work together in order to teach students. As previously stated, we have a great forum to get answers to GeoGebra as a stand alone application and to get help on the technological questions with using GeoGebra. To download GeoGebra, visit the homepage.

I truly could not be as successful using GeoGebra without the help of the user forum and to my friend Linda, who is an inspiration when it comes to creating solid documents for students. She is totally dedicated to what she does.

Thank you so much for visiting this site, I will do my best to update my material and get it on here as fast as I can.
